Tom and Lorraine Broadfield welcome you to Broadsamlee Labradors! We are a husband and wife team who adore the Labrador breed and view our dogs as our pets first and foremost - none of our dogs are caged or kenneled, they all share our home.

Having said that, we take our breeding very seriously. All our dogs and bitches are hip/elbow/eye tested; their hip scores are all below the breed average and all have 0/0 elbows and Clear eyes.

We breed only once a year from any of our bitches and mostly use our own stud dogs, so that you are usually able to see both parents when you visit to choose a puppy - in one case, we are able to show you five generations!

Like all breeders we constantly strive for quality, but that is never at the expense of temperament, which we consider to be extremely important.

We breed yellows, blacks and chocolates, consistently producing sound, healthy puppies with wonderful temperaments, making great family pets who will hopefully play a big part in your family life for many years to come. All our puppies are Kennel Club registered.

The Labrador is a very versatile breed - whether you want one purely as a family pet, to train to the gun, or perform other types of work, they will happily adapt to your needs with loyalty and love.

We are only too pleased to help our owners with any kind of problem and are always available to answer your concerns, and to share with you the trials and joys that owning a Labrador can bring. You will have the reassurance of knowing that you have a breeder who is 'on hand' for advice throughout your dog's life.

In addition, we're able to help you with important purchases for your puppy at warehouse prices, and also offer a food and accessory delivery service.

We are members of the West Midlands Labrador Retriever Club, The Labrador Retriever Club, The Dog Breeders Association and Hills Breeders Association, so remain constantly updated with modern practices in health care, nutrition, etc.

We are also affiliated kennel club members and hold a valid dog breeding licence with our local council and have recently started to supply autism assist puppies to the West Midlands
